This is how our methodology works in each of our stages.

Our Academic Program

Little Cambridge commences in Maternal grade (8 months) and continues to Kindergarten grade (5 years old) using the pedagogy of constructivism combined with the consideration of learning environments. Primary range from Stage 1 (6 years) to Stage 6 (12 years) in which the pedagogy of student-centered constructivism, based upon inquiry, is employed. High School is from 7th to 12th stages in which the pedagogy of student centered constructivism is used based on teaching and learning approaches.

Our Methodology

Each of the stages is based on the pedagogy of constructivism.

In Little Cambridge our pedagogy is based on learning spaces, where the students build projects through inquiry and research.
In Primary the constructivist pedagogy is student-centered. The students must work within the Cambridge and IB attributes and values seeking out answers on their own through inquiry and exploration.
In High School, the student-centered constructivist pedagogy continues, and is based on teaching and learning approaches.

Our Headmaster

Juan Felipe Mejía

Professional in Finance and International Relations at the Externado de Colombia University (Bogotá DC).
Master of Advanced European Studies, University of Basel (Switzerland).
Ph.D. in Economics, University of Hohenheim, Germany. Throughout his professional career Dr. Mejía has worked for the National Planning Department (Bogotá), Roche Ltd. in Switzerland, Bayer de Colombia, Bancolombia, and was the Academic Director of Colfuturo. He also has a wealth of experience in higher education. At EAFIT University, one of the most recognized universities nationwide, he served in different positions for 14 years, the last being the Dean of the School of Economics and Finance (2012-2018).
